About the game

A shelf, and the time it takes to fill it

Patina is played in short sittings. Pieces arrive, you look them over, and you keep the ones worth keeping — the display case has room for only so much, and everything you put in it stays visible.

There is no timer pushing you and no run to lose. Coins accumulate slowly, the collection fills in at its own pace, and the game is happy to be closed mid-thought and reopened a week later exactly where it was.

It is built to be an offline game in the honest sense: no account, no connection, no ads and no purchases. What is on your phone is the whole game.
