The Last Encore

Privacy Policy

The Last Encore is a game developed by Areno Labs. This policy explains what data the game handles.

The short version: none of it leaves your PC.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

What the game stores

The Last Encore writes two files to your own computer: your saved progress and settings, and a plain-text file with statistics from your runs — how long they lasted, which weapons you used, which upgrades you took. Both stay in the game's folder on your machine, and the second one exists so that a playtester can send it to us on purpose if they want to. Nothing is uploaded on its own.

What the game does not do

The game does not connect to the internet. It does not collect, transmit or share personal data. It does not ask for your name, email, location or files. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.

Who sees your data

Nobody, unless you send us a file yourself. There are no servers, ours or anyone else's, receiving information from the game.

Steam

If you get the game on Steam, Valve handles the purchase and knows you own it, under their own privacy policy. That is between you and Valve: we receive sales totals, never buyers.

Children

The game collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the game and deleting its folder removes the save file and the statistics file. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing else to request or erase.

Changes

If a future version sends anything anywhere — leaderboards, crash reports, anything at all — this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the date above will reflect it.
